Management Accountant

Alexander Daniels is recruiting for a Management Accountant for a business based in Kidderminster. This business is well-established within their field and boasts a diverse, lively and progressive working environment whilst retaining a family feel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of the month-end reporting packs
• Prepare appropriate month-end adjustments, including stock adjustments, fixed assets register work, review KPI workings, complete analysis commentary, balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide support on the statutory accounts.
• VAT Return preparation and submission
• Work with Finance Manager on the commentary and performance
• Year End Population of schedules
• Audit Liaison
• Assistance with Budget preparation
• Capex Tracking
• Continuous improvement projects
• Business Partnering with Internal and External stakeholders
• Any other ad hoc duties required in relation to the preparation of accounts under the direction of the Finance Manager and Directors and therefore commensurate with the role.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a similar role and be working towards a professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA). A good level of Excel skills is also essential, with Pivot tables & V-Lookups at a minimum. This role is office based 5 days a week.
