Credit Controller

Job Description

Credit Controller required to join a leading distribution business in Cannock who are looking to grow their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Credit Manager and working as part of a small and friendly team, you will be responsible for:

  • Chasing outstanding debt on 6-700 live accounts
  • Carrying out credit checks and opening new accounts
  • Resolving queries in a professional and efficient manner
  • Raising credit notes where necessary
  • Any other general administration as required

 
This is a remote working opportunity (although you will be required to go into the office on occasion) so this person will need to be able to hit the ground running and work with minimal supervision. You must have previous experience in a similar role, an excellent telephone manner and good to advanced Excel skills.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30-5pm. This is an urgent requirement, therefore, candidates with a shorter notice period would be preferred.
