Accounts Payable Clerk

Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk for a business based in Warwickshire. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing business and hit the ground running. This role offers one flexi day a week, enabling you to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely processing of Invoices, seeking appropriate approval and coding
• Responsible for maintenance of the purchase ledger, including Supplier statement reconciliations, aged creditor reporting and creating supplier records
• Processing weekly payment runs, ensuring all suppliers are paid on time, with Ad-hoc and international payments where necessary.
• Assist with expense and credit card management, approval processing and payment
• Key point of contact for internal purchasing requests, queries and supplier portal user updates
• Assisting the line manager and wider accounts team with ad-hoc projects as and when required

Skills and Experience:

• Experience of a high volume, fast-paced finance role
• Aptitude to learn quickly and adapt, with a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, a logical approach and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Sage200 or similar accounting package.
• Strong MS Office and Excel skills, competent with pivot tables and lookup formulas
• Proven ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Be a team-player but also self-motivated and pro-active.
• Actively studying towards AAT qualification or looking to start.
