Interim Project Accountant – 9 Month FTC (Fully Remote)

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for an Interim Finance Project Accountant for a 9 month fixed term contract on a full-time, remote working basis. Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will support the finance team during a period of Finance Transformation which includes an ERP system implementation, business process change and team development. The work will be varied and could cover the full range of finance activities as process change is embedded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of a plan for the new finance system
• Assist in data cleanse ‘project’ in advance of migration to new system
• Review of internal processes and making recommendations for improvements
• Quality check training guidance, materials, and documentation for the finance team and deliver training
• Assist on year end audit actions including remediation
• Support Head of Finance in review of finance requirements, roles and responsibilities
• Lead a review of the existing ‘Finance Handbook’, including updating the scope of the document and content creation ensuring alignment to new automated processes and accounting standards
• Work with the Financial Controller to create a new Delegation of Financial Authority

The ideal candidate will be an accounting professional with some previous experience in a finance transformation project and up-to-date knowledge of financial accounting standards, year-end audit requirements, financial
policies, process and controls. You must be able to hit the ground running with a ‘can-do’ attitude and available to start at short notice.
