Financial Controller needed for a growing manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton

My client has seen 20% growth year on year and are now looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join them and help continue this exciting journey. My client is profitable and cash generative with strong backing from its international parent company. They have exciting growth plans, not just in the UK, but Internationally too. The Financial Controller will report directly to the Group FD and UK MD.

So what are we looking for?

• Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an exceptional QBE candidate who has extensive manufacturing experience.
• Must be bright & intelligent with strong communication skills and good process development background
• Strong business partnering experience
• Excellent management skills
• Experience developing solid processes and procedures to support the team
• Solid monthly management accounts preparation experience
• Cash Management and Working Capital Control
• Excellent reporting and communication skills.
• Constructively Challenge the business to improve across all categories
• Ability to provide a risk averse, option based level of decision support for the MD and his team
• Must be a credible leader who can develop the finance function
• High levels of computer skill including modern ERP system knowledge and extensive spreadsheet and data analytics skills (Power BI Dashboards)
