Credit Controller

Job Description:

Are you passionate about maintaining healthy financial relationships with clients while ensuring the stability of the company’s cash flow? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! As a Credit Control Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our credit management processes.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Contact customers to resolve outstanding payment issues via phone, email, or mail.
• Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
• Review and analyze financial data and credit reports to make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address credit-related inquiries.
• Develop and maintain effective credit control policies and procedures.
• Prepare and present regular reports on credit status to management.
• Initiate legal action or collection efforts when necessary.
• Assist in the reconciliation of accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in credit control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
