Finance Analyst

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst for their distribution client near Lichfield. This is a full-time, permanent position. As a Finance Analyst, you will report to the Commercial Accountant and work with a well-organised team. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Reporting on business performance.
• Analysing key revenue and cost drivers.
• Tracking progress on strategic projects.
• Assisting in creating strong budgets and forecasts.
• Supporting and challenging the business to improve performance.
• Helping create investment reports to spot emerging trends.
• Providing financial support for special projects as needed.

The ideal candidate should be a part-qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA) with a good understanding of finance and business. You should be comfortable working with large amounts of data in Excel, and experience with budgeting and forecasting is a must. We are looking for someone who can question current practices and processes to drive continuous improvement.
