Accounts Payable Specialist

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist on behalf of a well-established retail group based in Staffordshire on an interim basis for a period of 3 months minimum. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for process improvement and overseeing the end-to-end AP process.

Some Key Responsibilities include:
* Posting of all purchase ledger invoices on to the system
* Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders, coding them appropriately and posting them to the system
* Chasing up missing PO numbers internally
* Obtaining invoice authorisation from the appropriate stakeholders
* Raising purchase orders if required
* Be the first point of contact for supplier queries
* Month end processes
* Statement reconciliations
* Preparing supplier payment runs for approval and pass for payment

The perfect candidate will be an established and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with previous proven involvement with process improvement, managing end-to-end Accounts Payable processes and is conmfrotable working in large organisations.
