Commercial Business Partner – Pricing

Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an Commercial Business Partner specialising in Pricing on a 12 Month FTC basis for a business based in Solihull. This role offers great exposure in a growing business, working closely with the Pricing Manager you will gain invaluable experience and the opportunity to further your career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business partnering the Marketing, Operations teams, and management teams.
• Price Setting / Analysis – Brand, Site and Product level
• Modelling the potential impact of changes to pricing strategies / structures
• Performance analysis of pricing and promotion changes / trials post the event using various data sources.
• Commercial support for marketing in brand range, pricing, and promotional activity
• Using data and analysis to provide performance insight.
• Promotional Modelling and Analysis
• Modelling the potential impact of new/amended promotional and marketing activity.
• Modelling the potential impact of new/amended range and menu changes.
• Assessing the success of various activity and providing recommendations for the future
• Site Analysis
• Working with Operations and Marketing in proposing pricing and offers for new investments.
• Contributing to bi-annual site level overall pricing and promotional reviews
• Ad Hoc site level price / promotional reviews
• Analysing impact of pricing and promotions on site level performance and providing recommendations for next steps

Essential requirements:

• Previous Pricing exposure/ experience
• Strategic and commercial mindset
• Excellent Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’S)
• Two years previous experience in a similar role (Preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
