Finance Manager

Reporting in to a dynamic and supportive Commercial Finance Director, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing and dynamic business at the start of their investment journey. This role is offered on a remote basis with the senior management team all being based in the Midlands. The successful candidate should also live within the midlands so the team are able to meet.

Role and Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the weekly and monthly management accounts
• Work proactively to identify areas of opportunity, best practice and analysing financial performance.
• Working capital management
• Production of weekly and monthly reports including cashflow forecasting
• Production and review of budgets
• Develop and maintain financial controls including automating and streamlining current processes.
• Manipulating and developing advanced excel models.
• Produce and provide effective commentary to the business and be able to challenge and support financial information provided.
• Leading the completion of the annual audit and liaising with auditors where applicable
• Ensuring that journal files are set up correctly for audit purposes.
• Support and mentor the accounts assistant

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with strong management accounts experience
• Ability to organise and implement processes to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated team player with genuine enthusiasm
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
