Tax Manager

Working for a fabulous business based in Warwickshire, we are exclusively retained to recruit a Senior Tax Accountant.

This is an opportunity for someone to come in and reshape how the business looks at Tax across the organisation and is help shape how the department will look. We are looking for an ambitious candidate, ideally from a Top 10 firm who has specialised in Tax.

This role is responsible for all areas of taxation to ensure full compliance with all applicable laws you will be a technical expert, and be aware of existing and forthcoming legislation and have fully anticipated and incorporated the commercial relevance.

The role will provide detailed advice not only in ‘day-to-day’ matters but also in support of one-off projects to acquire, dispose or otherwise materially change the Society’s operations. The role will be expected to be the single point of contact for HMRC and help to deliver the commercial success of the organisation.

This is an exciting, high-profile technical leadership role within an organisation that is poised for growth and expansion.

You will be responsible for all areas of tax including, Corporation Tax, VAT, PSA, P11D and any other areas, as required.

About You

The opportunity is suitable for an individual with demonstrable success in leading and influencing large or complex organisations in the areas of taxation.

• Qualified and technically strong finance / tax professional with at least 5yrs experience in senior financial roles from either a practice or industry background
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with senior stakeholders (internal and external)
• Ability to manage and deliver competing priorities.
• Track record for successfully working with HMRC or other legislative bodies
• Excellent written communication and reporting skills
• Deadline driven with strong customer delivery mentality
