Finance Business Partner

Alexander Daniels are excited to be recruiting for a Finance Business Partner on behalf of a leading Plc business based in Derbyshire on a full-time, permanent basis. As Finance Business Partner, you will be the central point of contact for the management teams across multiple sites, responsible for providing financial administration support and ensuring their financial deadlines are met in an accurate and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact with your allocated sites and attending site visits monthly
• Ensure costs are allocated and coded correctly
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared correctly and in a timely manner and any differences are investigated and resolved
• Provision of financial analysis, reporting and commentary
• Assist with CAPEX projects
• Entry of month end journals for reporting
• Assist with forecast and budget preparation and analysis for your sites

The ideal candidate will be a Newly-Qualified Accountant or be about to take your final exam (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with previous experience dealing with key stakeholders at all levels. You must have strong analytical skills able to manipulate and understand large data sets whilst navigating the P&L, with a supportive, open and approachable nature.
