Alexander Daniels Recruitment is working exclusively with a growing business to hire an experienced Finance Director to work closely with the MD to execute business strategy and lead a global finance team. This role is pivotal to the continued success of the business.
Finance Directors key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives.
- Work with advisers to optimise Group structure.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial reports to senior management.
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities.
- Manage the company’s capital structure, optimising the balance between debt and equity to support growth and profitability.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead financial due diligence and integration processes for potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships.
- Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage the company’s tax strategy.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
Key Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, ACMA qualified
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior financial leadership role.
- Strong understanding of financial management, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
