Accounts Assistant

Alexander Daniels are working with a fast growing company who are looking for an accounts assistant to join their team. This opportunity would suit someone who is detail-oriented and finance-savvy individual looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team?

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant who will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial operations. This is a permanent, office based position which will offer stability alongside the chance to grow your accounting skills within an established team.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Checking and importing site bookwork data into head office software system
• Supplier payments / queries
• Requesting statement
• Copy invoice
• Raise Sales invoices – Monthly
• Raise client statements
• Dealing with client PO data / systems
• Nominal journals
• Review current ISO procedures and update where necessary
• Write new ISO process / procedures as and when required
• Work with the Finance Manager to improve the efficiencies of the accounts department operations and work processes.
• Support the Operations Team in dealing with queries as required
• Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required
• Ability to effectively forward information to 3rd party providers, a small group or on an individual basis, as well as to other members of staff in the company
• The ability to achieve objectives, work under pressure and to tight deadlines

On offer is a salary up to £26,000
