Accounts Semi-Senior

Our client is a growing and dynamic accountancy practice dedicated to providing high-quality financial services to their clients. They specialise in assisting sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, offering a comprehensive accounting solutions tailored to their needs.

They are looking for an experienced practice accountant to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, including the preparation of accounts for various entities, filing tax returns, and training junior team members. The key duties will include:

• Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Complete self assessment and corporation tax returns accurately and within a timely manner
• Provide training and support to junior team members to ensure their professional development

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience working within a practice (desirable)
• Knowledge of Xero and Digita (desirable)
• Enthusiastic about delivering a high quality service to clients
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Methodical and logical thinking abilities
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Studying towards AAT or ACCA
