Job Description

Job Opportunity: Associate Director

About my client:
My client is a family run, boutique debt advisory business with an impressive track record, having successfully secured over £2.5bn in funding for UK-based companies. Their niche lies in specialising in ticket sizes ranging from £2-20m, where many advisors hesitate, and they comfortably handle deals up to £100m. Experiencing consistent year-on-year growth for the past 5 years, they are currently on a high-growth trajectory, expanding their deal teams to further elevate their presence in the small-cap financing arena.

As they continue their growth plan, Alexander Daniels Limited have been exclusively engaged to help them source a dedicated and skilled Associate Director for a full-time hybrid or fully remote role. In this role, the Associate Director will collaborate within deal teams alongside experienced leaders. Responsibilities encompass the end-to-end management of client transactions, including preparation, marketing, and execution. The successful Associate Director will oversee the day-to-day progress of live deals, cultivating and sustaining relationships with clients and lenders, and managing business operations effectively.

The successful Associate Director will have the following skills, experience and qualifications, however it is more important you have the drive, passion and the hunger to succeed with a passionate business and team.

  • Proven track record in finance advisory/brokering.
  • Strong network building skills.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills in a customer-facing or client-centred environment.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in financial analysis.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and problem-solve.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach.
  • A robust academic background in finance or a related field, with a relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a professional services environment such as investment banking, consulting, or private equity.

What do they do?
My client boasts extensive relationships with the UK and international funding market, spanning from venture capital to complex asset and structured debt products. Their expertise lies in assisting businesses in refining their funding strategy, making introductions to funders, and providing support in securing the most commercial terms available. They firmly believe that every business should have an appropriate funding and fundraising strategy. If you don’t, they welcome the opportunity to help shape and implement one for you.

Embark on an exciting journey with my client, where growth, innovation, and client satisfaction are at the forefront. To apply for the Associate Director position, kindly submit your resume and cover letter to nick.singh@alexanderdaniels.co.uk or call for a confidential chat on 07973 757974
