Job Description

Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an experienced finance assistant to join a business based in Warwick on a fulltime, permanent basis. This role offers great exposure in a growing business, working closely with the Financial Manager you will gain invaluable experience and the opportunity to be a part of a supportive business.

Daily tasks will include:

  • Maintaining the Sales and Purchase Ledger.
  • Preparing weekly payment runs.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Credit Control – chasing debtors.
  • Preparing and posting journals.
  • Manage holiday requests.
  • Additional ad hoc tasks.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years experience in similar role.
  • Strong communication skills and good telephone manner.
  • Ability to prioritise and plan workload.
  • Knowledge of VAT and CIS rules.
  • Good Excel and Analytical skills.
  • A can-do positive approach to work with a willingness to learn.

The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, established business and will benefit from a competitive salary up to £26,000 – £27,000 per annum DOE.
