Job Description

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Clerk to join a busy and growing finance team on a temp-to-perm basis, starting as soon as possible.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident handling a wide range of transactional finance duties and keen to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing high-volume bank transactions
  • Managing purchase ledger and supplier queries
  • Running weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Credit control and chasing aged debt
  • Setting up new customer and supplier accounts
  • Supporting month-end reporting
  • Reconciling GRNI and resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Calculating and processing rebates
  • General finance admin and assisting with ad hoc queries

Ideal Candidate:

  • Solid background in accounts payable and general finance admin
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with finance systems
  • Organised, proactive, and confident resolving queries independently
  • Available to start at short notice
