Finance Manager

Alexander Daniels are proud to be supporting a growing Leicester-based tech business in hiring for a Finance Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible with the day to day running of the team whilst being hands-on with the management accounts production and consolidation of the group accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production of monthly management accounts with variance analysis
• Balance sheet and reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Analysis of the Group’s financial performance periodically
• Treasury management and FOREX
• Managing the company’s cashflow
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Day to day management and development of 2 direct reports
• Ensuring that the sales and purchase ledger are being maintained accurately.

The ideal candidate will be a newly-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent) either from industry or making their 1st move out of practice with previous experience of SME group consolidation and producing management accounts. This role would suit someone who wants to progress into finance leadership in a young and dynamic business.

The successful candidate will be awarded with a competitive salary, 22 days holiday per year plus bank holidays which increases with service plus your birthday off, company pension and hybrid working (3-4 days a week on-site).
