Group Finance Director

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, multi-entity business who are seeking a commercially astute Group Financial Director to join its executive team. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving strategic financial direction, ensuring robust governance, and supporting ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage finance teams across multiple subsidiaries
• Oversee consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Drive FP&A to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and tax regulations
• Lead corporate finance activities including funding, investment appraisal, and M&A
• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic plans
• Implement strong internal controls and financial systems
• Present accurate financial reports and insights to the board and stakeholders

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
• Proven experience as a Financial Director or Group Finance Lead in a multi-entity business
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, risk management, and strategic planning
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in stock management and importing products
• Exposure to international operations or multi-currency environments (desirable)
• M&A and corporate restructuring experience (desirable)
