Interim Finance Director

Interim Finance Director – £600 to £750 per day Outside IR35 – 3months – Northampton

Alexander Daniels is working with a leading Private Equity firm to help recruit and experienced Interim Finance Director for one of their portfolio companies based in Northampton. They are seeking an experienced Interim Exit Support Consultant to join the team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the company through a pivotal phase, providing expert guidance and strategic insight during exit processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Financial Due Diligence (FDD), Vendor Due Diligence (VDD), and Financial Modeling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and Vendor Due Diligence (VDD) assessments to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate potential exit scenarios, assess valuation metrics, and optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and executive leadership to streamline exit processes and drive strategic decision-making.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on thorough analysis and industry best practices to maximise value and mitigate risks throughout exit transactions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, offering expert guidance on complex financial matters and market trends.

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
• Proven track record of success in Financial Due Diligence (FDD), Vendor Due Diligence (VDD), and Financial Modeling.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working on exit transactions (e.g., M&A, IPO) from both buy-side and sell-side perspectives is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.

Renumeration

• Outside IR35, day rate £600 to £750 per day
