Management Accountant

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a dynamic and detail-oriented Management Accountant on behalf of a large retail and distribution organisation in North Birmingham. This unique role offers the opportunity to business partner across critical areas of the business, providing comprehensive financial support and analysis to ensure operational efficiency and strategic growth.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely and accurate financial reports.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and weekly, monthly, and annual accounts.
• Respond to queries and partner with key stakeholders.
• Prepare and enter journals including accruals and prepayments.
• Participate in team meetings and carry out additional tasks as requested by the manager.
• Continuously improve finance processes and aim for first-time accuracy.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA with experience of producing management accounts in a similar role in a fast-paced environment. You must have strong analytical skills with excellent Microsoft Excel proficiency and effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
