Management Accountant

Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a successful finance function/business. The successful candidate will be providing accounting support throughout the business and will have the opportunity to be involved in business partnering. You will be working alongside the Finance Manager to help run the day-to-day support of the finance team.

This role is hybrid (2 days from home), offers Study Support and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilitie

• Month end reporting – preparation of monthly accounts including full variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliation to Group reporting deadlines
• Manage WIP and cash flow requirements in line with Group procedures
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process
• Support the management of the wider finance/administration/payroll function through established teams – Collect information and provide support in preparing information for payroll
• Provide accurate and clear financial and management information to regional managers and senior management on a timely basis
• Lead the end-to-end Accounts Payable cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payment
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and information
• Management and development of any direct reports.
• Communication of financial deadlines in appropriate timeframes
• Strategic thinking to support key business stakeholders
