Job Description

Alexander Daniels are working with a supplier just outside of Kidderminster, who are looking for a purchase ledger clerk. Reporting into the Finance Director, some of the main duties include (but are not restricted to):

  • End-to-end purchase ledger role, which involves accurately processing multi-currency invoices on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Ensuring payments are approved by senior management, and paid on time.
  • Responsible for statement reconciliation.
  • Resolving any invoice queries and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Assisting with weekly payment runs.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as and when needed.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is confident working independently, a good problem solver, has the ability to meet strict deadlines and is not afraid of getting stuck in. Joining a small finance team, and working alongside the accounts assistant, the working culture is collaborative and inclusive.

The successful candidate will benefit from a salary of around £25,000, 24 days annual leave (plus birthday off, plus bank holidays), early finish on a Friday and a good pension scheme.

This is a permanent, full-time and on site role, so only local candidates will be considered.
