Purchase Ledger Manager

Alexander Daniels is proud to be partnering with a well-established business based in Coventry, seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations. You will lead a dedicated team, drive process improvements, and maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, approvals, and payments.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, approval limits, and internal financial controls.
• Monitor team workflow and performance, resolving issues to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with Procurement, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to the Accounts Payable team.
• Manage supplier relationships and internal stakeholder communications.
• Track performance metrics (KPIs) and conduct regular team performance reviews.

Experience and Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger management role.
• Proficiency in accounting and ERP software.
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing teams.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
