Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk required for an exciting new role based in Dudley. This is a full time permanent position paying between £18,000 – £22,000.

You will be responsible for looking after supplier accounts, making sure payment terms are met and dealing with queries in a prompt and courteous manner, as well as liaising with other departments to find resolutions. Other tasks include matching and processing invoices through to payment, check and reconcile petty cash against receipts to ensure costs balance and correct VAT has been applied. Including other general accounts payable tasks such as supplier statement reconciliation and the maintenance of supplier accounts.

You will have strong purchase ledger experience and superb communication skills. You will be a self-motivated person who enjoys improving processes and delivering targets. The successful candidate must have good working knowledge of using computerised accounts package and Microsoft excel is essential for this role.
