Alexander Daniels have an exclusive role for a HR Learning and Development / Training Manager to work with a fantastic organisation based in Birmingham.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the overall HR and Organisational Development function delivering an exceptional service to the organisation, including the application and interpretation of organisational policy and employment ensuring the human resource and training needs of the organisation are successfully met in a reliable, timely and cost-effective manner

Duties and Responsibilities
• Reporting to and working closely with the HR Director, you will be required to define the HR and Organisational Development strategy through analysis of statistical data and organisational feedback
• Leading a successful and cohesive HR and Organisational Development function through the effective management of the service, promoting the values, culture and ethos of the company
• Identifying areas for continuous improvement through creativity and flexibility
• Leading on learning and development for the organisation, implementing the training and development agenda and providing guidance and development for managers and their teams
• Developing and facilitating the implementation of workforce, recruitment, talent management and succession planning in accordance with business needs and budgetary parameters
• Measure employee satisfaction and developing and delivering the organisational development, cultural and engagement strategy
• Providing leadership and coaching to all members of the HR and Organisational Development team, cultivating a cohesive and collaborative team empowered and committed to delivering an excellent service

• Developing and reviewing progress against the HR and Organisational Development strategy and budget, managing people and resources to ensure effective delivery of services against key performance indicators and objectives
• Responsibility for the implementation and review of child protection and vulnerable adult policies as Designated Safeguarding Officer and to lead and coordinate safeguarding activities across the business

Key Skills Required:

• CIPD Qualification
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Senior HR role ideally Learning and Development
• TUPE / Change Management experience
