Alexander Daniels Recruitment are currently working with a reputable growing company based in Shrewsbury (easily reachable from Telford).
This is a permanent position for a General Ledger Clerk. This role requires previous experience and ideally someone who has strong experience with Excel.

Duties
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Accrual and prepayment preparation
• Query resolution
• Assisting with year-end processes

Key Requirements
• Previous General Ledger and VAT experience,
• A self-starter and disciplined lone worker yet able to work well as part of a team,
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail,
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and in particular Excel,
• Excellent communication skills,
• Able to work under pressure and to tight month end deadlines,
• Ability to think logically, consider all relevant aspects and carry out basic analysis on information.
Benefits
• £20,000 – £22,000 dependent on experience

Full time hours would be Mon-Thurs 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am – 4pm
