Not everyone likes to commit to a long-term job, some of us like regular change, to keep meeting new people and build new skills.
This is why temping can be great!
You can choose whatever length of contract suits you, and quite often your working hours can be made to fit around your flexible lifestyle. So, what are the common options for how long you wish to temp for?
Below are a few examples:
– 2 weeks
– 1 month
– 3 – 6 months
– 9 months
– 12 months
– 15 months
Each temporary role will have its own rough timeframe depending on the type of work involved. It can range from a short-term data inputting role, to a more senior project role.
Not having the commitment of a job can reduce stress, gives you a balanced lifestyle and essentially lets you move on when you have completed the assignment.
