Job Description

Alexander Daniels is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a large distribution business based in the Black Country. This role is a temporary contract to provide additional support to the wider finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolving invoice queries.
  • Posting Cash
  • Processing incoming and outgoing payments
  • Raising sales credit notes
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders/GRNs and posting invoices.
  • Manage the purchase invoice register
  • Data entry
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required.

 
This is an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to gain some valuable experience in a fast-paced finance team with lots of exposure and opportunity. The ideal candidate will have good Excel skills, have a minimum of 2 years of Accounts Assistant experience and be willing to work in the office 5 days a week.
