Tax Manager

Our client is a multi-location medium sized accountancy firm, currently looking for a talented Tax Manager to join their team in Northampton. Founded over 150 years ago, they are one of the leading independent accounting practices, with nearly 100 partners and staff across 3 offices. Many of their portfolio of clients are long-standing and cover a wide range of industries and sizes.

Role: Tax Manager

Location: Northampton

Salary: Up to £60K

The key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and cultivating client relationships, ensuring tax services are executed efficiently and effectively
• Supervising and mentoring tax staff, fostering a constructive and supportive learning environment
• Providing tax advice to individuals, partnerships, company’s and trusts
• Overseeing tax compliance, ensuring submissions are accurate and timely
• Identifying, investigating and resolving complex tax issues, providing clear and comprehensive solutions
• Liaising with HMRC and other regulatory bodies when required
• Engaging in business development activities, represening the firm at events and developing new client relationships
