Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, growing business in Loughborough. With a strong industry presence and an exciting period of growth ahead, our client is looking to add a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to their finance team.

This role is initially offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, although a direct permanent appointment may be considered for the right candidate.

£25,000 – £28,000

Accounts Payable Clerk – Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and investigating any discrepancies
  • Responding to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts
  • Reconciling supplier statements to ensure accuracy
  • Handling staff expenses
  • Assisting the Management Accounts team with ad-hoc finance tasks

Accounts Payable Clerk – Requirements:

  • Ideally, 2+ years’ experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing processes
  • Organised and structured approach to work
