Job Description

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on behalf of a well-established and rapidly expanding business based in Shrewsbury on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Financial Controller and working as part of a small and friendly team, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and reliable Assistant Accountant to add value through the collaboration of relevant financial and non-financial information to aid in management decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing a trial balance for multiple businesses within the group
  • Management accounts preparation and reporting
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Assisting with statutory audits
  • Assisting with budgeting
  • Producing P11D’s
  • Any other general adhoc tasks to support the FC

The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified Accountant studying ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with experience in a similar role and a high level of proficiency in Excel. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising and managing multiple workloads is essential.

The salary on offer is up to £32,000 + study support and a range of excellent benefits including:

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break on-site at Shrewsbury.
