Job Description

Alexander Daniels Recruitment is working exclusively with a growing business to hire an experienced Finance Director to work closely with the MD to execute business strategy and lead a global finance team. This role is pivotal to the continued success of the business.

Finance Directors key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives.
  • Work with advisers to optimise Group structure.
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial reports to senior management.
  • Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities.
  • Manage the company’s capital structure, optimising the balance between debt and equity to support growth and profitability.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead financial due diligence and integration processes for potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships.
  • Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage the company’s tax strategy.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, ACMA qualified
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
