Finance Director – Walsall – £90,000k to £100,00k + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits

Alexander Daniels Limited have been retained by a hugely successful, private equity backed business to deliver a search for a high calibre, commercially astute and experienced Finance Director. It is essential the successful Finance Director is based in and around the Midlands region.

Our client is a dynamic and growing manufacturing business with a strong international presence. Backed by private equity, our client is poised for significant growth and expansion. We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated, strategic Finance Director to join the leadership team and play a key role in driving the financial strategy and growth initiatives.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will have experience working with senior leadership teams in high-growth companies. The FD will partner with the CEO and Board to develop and deliver strategic and financial plans, drive operational effectiveness, and lead a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Finance Leadership: Develop and deliver financial plans to support profitable growth and margin improvement.
• Operational Finance & Scalability: Lead financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and build scalable systems and processes.
• Business Partnering: Drive commercial and operational effectiveness through strong business partnering across functions.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
• M&A and Integration: Lead financial due diligence and integration of acquisition targets.
• Private Equity Engagement: Act as key financial liaison with the private equity firm.
• Operational Standardisation: Implement and embed consistent financial and operational standards across all divisions.

Finance Director Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, ACMA qualified
• Finance Director with experience in a private equity-backed business or high-growth company.
• Experience in manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Strong strategic and commercial mindset.
• Ability to lead and motivate a high-performing finance team.
• Experience in M&A and deal-related environments will be a distinct advantage
• Able to demonstrate EBITDA growth with previous businesses
• Strong operational leadership skills.
