Location: Solihull (3 days per week, 2 days from home)
Package: £60,000 to £70,000 DOE, plus bonus, BUPA, pension

Group Finance Manager required for an excellent service sector organisation that operates in the contracting space. As part of a $multibillion internationally-owned group, you’ll be working across all UK entities with a combined revenue totalling c.£400m. This is a newly-created role that is technically-geared to support the Group Financial Controller in a number of developing areas.

As the Group Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a small team and delivering timely reporting and analysis on a monthly basis. Your duties will include:

  • Line management of a team of four, including qualified and part-qualified accountants
  • Consolidation of monthly management accounts for multiple group entities
  • Production of resources for the monthly board pack, and presentation of financial information
  • Delivery of annual statutory reporting for year end
  • Acting as a key liaison partner with the external auditors
  • Supporting the production of annual budget for numerous divisions
  • Recruiting into the expanding team as the business grows, and developing staff
  • Collaboration with the Tax, Treasury and Audit teams when necessary to provide information
  • Quarterly reporting on financial position for the CXO suite

The ideal candidate for this position will have good experience in large group businesses. You must be a qualified accountant, ideally ACA, ACMA or ACCA, with experience in delivery of statutory accounts. It would be advantageous to have managed a team previously, though we would welcome those with strong experience looking to step into line management.
