Financial Controller

Key duties will include:

• Providing influence and guidance to finance team and operating businesses to maximise commercial success /cost-saving opportunities
• Consolidating Group company’s management information with synopsis and insight for Board review
• Monitoring and driving the financial progress of the business through timely and relevant financial reporting
• Managing and cash flow
• Reviewing and improving KPIs for areas of the business to improve the quality and relevance of management information and ultimately to drive performance improvement with input to internal systems in accounts & operations
• Overseeing and improving financial controls and processes across functions and business units
• Oversee and coordinate annual accounting and other financial audits
• Overseeing the production of budgets and financial reporting, including monthly/ quarterly/ audited P&L and balance sheet reports
• You will excel in building effective working relationships, provide support to key company initiatives such as system development and performance analysis

 
Key skills, experience, and qualifications:

• A hands-on individual who is able to get into the detail but also knows how to prioritise and get things done.
• You will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with a demonstrable track record of success in a senior finance role in a similar growing SME organisation.
• In addition to being a high-performing, self-starting, individual you will have the ability to act as a business partner providing strategic, analytical, and business support
• Be a commercially orientated financial leader with a business-enabling mindset and positive attitude
• You will possess strong IT skills with experience working with ERP systems
