Divisional Financial Controller

Alexander Daniels have been exclusively retained to recruit for a Divisional Financial Contolller for this fantastic business based in lovely offices.

Due to continued growth a rare opportunity has arisen for a Divisional Financial Controller to join the Head Office team

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a dynamic and dedicated team that supports the business in every way possible. This varied and interesting role will give the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and growing department.

The role will report to the Group Financial Controller and will work closely with the Divisional Franchise Director.

Role and Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a team of Accountants and Assistants
• Responsibility for the divisional monthly and annual management accounts
• Work proactively with the branches to identify areas of opportunity, best practice and analysing financial performance
• Working capital management
• Production of weekly and monthly reports including forecasting
• Production and review of annual budgets for the divisions
• Develop and maintain financial controls
• Leading the completion of the annual audit for your division and liaising with auditors where applicable

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with experience in a financial leadership role managing a team
• Strong people and time management capability
• Ability to organise and implement processes to meet deadlines
• Self-motivated team player with genuine enthusiasm
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
