Finance Business Partner

Alexander Daniels are working with an exciting business who are recruiting for a Finance business partner to join the team. This is a newly created position which will aid the commercial team in key decision making. Responsibilities:

• Delivering key Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) messages during weekly and monthly operational meetings.
• Providing financial support to operational directors in implementing profitable actions.
• Identifying lucrative opportunities within your division that align with the overall business strategy.
• Conducting exception reporting and analysis to address areas of under performance.
• Performing trend analysis across various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify positive and negative performance trends, while anticipating market downturns in advance.
• Collaborating with other business departments to ensure well-rounded insights inform decision-making processes.
• Conducting periodic profit reviews for the division, highlighting performance against targets and key business KPIs.
• Working closely with the accounts team to analyse the divisional P&L, identifying process inconsistencies and potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Supporting the Capital Expenditure (Capex) agenda through detailed performance reviews of individual sites to uncover opportunities for improving profitability.
• Collaborating with the reporting and planning team to ensure the accuracy and currency of your databases.
