Group Financial Accountant

Group Financial Accountant required to join a market leading business in Walsall on a permanent contract.

Alexander Daniels have been exclusively engaged by a leading business in Walsall to help them recruit a talented Group Financial Accountant. Reporting into the Finance Director the Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing group consolidations as well as managing a change programme.

The Group Financial Accountants responsibilities will include:

• Manage Group consolidations
• Preparation of the Month-End Management Accounts Pack for distribution to the board
• Produce & manage consolidated cash forecast reporting
• Assist the Group finance director in developing effective KPI reporting
• Support Group Finance Director with Company Secretarial responsibilities
• Liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Produce and manage Head Office Accounts, treasury, including budgets, payroll and VAT returns
• Manage change and assist in developing the group finance function

The successful Group Financial Accountant will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Experience working in a similar role within a group function
• Experience of working with Group consolidations, multi-currency and multi-site business
• Power BI knowledge and experience will be an distinct advantage
• Strong Excel skills are essential
• Good communicator with the ability to build, manage and influence relationships with senior stakeholders
• Able to demonstrate where you have implemented new procedures and processes
• Strives to deliver results and achieve goals

Salary on offer for the successful Group Financial Accountant will be between £50,000 to £60,000 dependant on experience
