Finance Manager

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a commercially focused Finance Manager to join our fast-paced client on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will be a hybrid role, where you will spend two days in the office in Walsall and three days at home.

Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing full and accurate financial information, decision support, financial guidance and advice, insight and commercial challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

On a day-to-day basis you will inform business leaders and their decision-making through commercial understanding of the business area you support, with emphasis on the following key areas:

• Deliver success through building and maintaining effective relationships and partnering disciplines
• Provide effective and efficient accounting, producing timely and accurate numbers
• Support the provision of effective financial insight, analysis, and challenge
• Produce pricing for price reviews or new business proposals
• Support the business area in developing annual budgets and forecasting

This is an ideal opportunity for a part qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA), with at least 2 years experience in a similar role within a large, fast-paced environment. You will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills as well as accounting ability along with the following;

• Financial modelling and strong analytical skills
• A good understanding of relevant commercial disciplines
• Excellent relationship management and influencing skills
• The ability to assimilate information and make decisions quickly
