Alexander Daniels have been exclusively retained to recruit for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join an established finance team. This is an office based role and would ideally suit someone who has completed AAT L3 or 4 and would like to continue with CIMA or ACCA.
Responsibilities:
Manage the posting of journal entries into the ERP system and reconcile company payroll data between journals and payroll reports.
Oversee the preparation and documentation required for VAT & Intrastat returns, and submit them to HMRC in a timely manner.
Manage the reconciliation and generation of PAYE & NIC payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Perform reconciliations for all pension payments and contributions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Reconcile inventory across all company sites and provide support during periodic stocktakes.
Take responsibility for posting and reconciling expense payments and accruals.
Conduct cost analysis and allocate business-wide invoices, including telephone charges.
Maintain the fixed asset register, including the creation of new assets and ensuring proper recording and processing of disposals in the system.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is nearly AAT qualified or early stage of CIMA or ACCA.
On offer is a salary of up to £32,000 plus study
