Job Description

Alexander Daniels are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a business based in West Bromwich on a 9-Month temporary basis covering maternity leave.

Key responsibilities:

  • Matching invoices to purchase order and delivery notes
  • Collate and posting of invoices onto the system.
  • Booking out delivery notes
  • Processing and posting of bank statements
  • Chase suppliers for invoices and delivery notes
  • Monthly aged creditor reports
  • Based on reception 2 days a week
  • Answering the phone and transferring to the correct department
  • Scanning documents
  • Handling petty cash

The ideal candidate will have 1 years previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role and exposure working with Sage would be advantageous. This is an office based role 5 days a week, with an early finish on Fridays.
