Alexander Daniels have been engaged by a leading Law firm to help them recruit an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join a dynamic Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading team in a successful, growing firm.

Financial Planning & Analysis Manager – Fully Remote (UK wide) – up to £70k per annum + 30% bonus

The successful Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for reviewing all month-end and quarterly reporting produced by the team including WIP valuation, reviewing our balance sheets and statutory accounts, as well as production of our annual budgets & forecast. The FP&A Manager will have line management responsibilities for a Junior and Management Accountant.

We are looking for FP&A candidates who are qualified accountants from a professional services or industry background with previous management experience. You must be proficient in Excel and have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) proactive, with proven ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will join a forward-thinking team and lead efforts to transform financial data into actionable insights, enabling us to make informed decisions and drive the company’s growth.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Line management responsibilities for a Junior and Management Accountant
  • Reviewing all month-end and quarterly reporting produced by the team including WIP valuation
  • Reviewing balance sheets
  • Production of annual budgets & forecast
  • Reviewing statutory accounts
  • Review annual firm tax computations
  • Population of external surveys
  • Reviewing fee & cost rates
  • Providing support for client tenders
  • Providing ad hoc profitability calculations
  • Assisting with partner WIP reviews
  • Main point of contact auditors.

What is on offer for the successful FP&A Manager:

  • Salary £60,000 to £70,000 dependant on experience
  • 35 days holidays (including bank holidays)
  • Pension, employee 3.5% and employer contribution is 6%
