Finance Business Partner

Alexander Daniels are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for a well-established business based in the Worcestershire area. This is a commercial role that would require you to have excellent understand of management accounts preparation and to be commercially astute. This role offers very flexible working and the opportunity to work for a fantastic manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Production of Management Accounts, R&O, project opex / capex cost tracking.
• Managing Controllable costs, being able to articulately analyse and explain the drivers of the key areas of the business.
• Working closely with the Head of Customer Care, understand and drive performance of the outsourced Customer Care operation, helping to reduce cost per contact and increase Sales through that channel.
• First Class business partnering support for all levels of stakeholder.
• Help drive the business forward through assisting in production of business cases for new business initiatives.
• Provide detailed CIAs of key strategic initiatives for presentation to the Board.
• Increase business performance by reviewing weekly Retail KPIs and providing analysis and insight into areas of underperformance.
• Represent Finance within the business operations therefore ensure attendance and contribution at all relevant stakeholder meetings.

Essential Requirements:

• Finalist/ newly qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
• Strong previous experience with Management Accounts & Budgets.
• Previous reporting and analytical skills.
• Strong Communication & presentation skills
• Comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Able to liaise with and influence colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
• Mature and positive outlook
• Strong excel skills VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables minimum.
• Knowledge of SAP desired
