Management Accountant

Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a successful wholesaler in Stafforshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate to work as part of a collaborative and friendly team, you will provide support and gain exposure to the following tasks:

• Posting purchase ledger invoices/sorting queries/raising payments/preparation of EOM BACS run/posting cash/statement reconciliations/bank reconciliations.
• Production of timely and accurate management accounts
• Assist with the production of timely and accurate management accounts
• Assist with preparing year end accounts
• Manage the fixed asset register
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
• Production of management information reports
• Journal preparation/posting
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Track and reconcile bank statements
• Play a part in reviewing work of accounts receivables and accounts payable
• Update financial spreadsheets
• Produce the VAT return for consolidation
• Participants in external & internal audits
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ad hoc work as required by Financial Controller

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role
• Proficient in using MS Excel
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience using ERP systems
• Confident communicator at all levels (Internally & Externally)
• AAT Qualified/Studier / Qualified by Experience
