Job Description

Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an established organisation based in Cannock who are looking to recruit an experienced finance officer on a full time basis. In this role you will be responsible for managing and administering financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

  • Management and efficient operation of the accounting function according to agreed procedures.
  • Monitor accounting procedures and resolve any problems.
  • Preparation of invoices, processing and payment for all goods and services provided.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Collection of fees and other dues, and recovery of bad debts.
  • Prepare final accounts and liaise with auditors.
  • Be a point of contact regard to gifts and other donations.
  • To be involved in projects that relate to finance: obtaining quotes, advising staff of best value.

Requirements:

  • Two years experience within a similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • AAT Qualified.
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines.
