Job Description

Alexander Daniels are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join an established business based in Kenilworth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has a strong eye for accuracy, and is keen to build a career within finance. While the position focuses on Accounts Payable, you’ll also have the chance to develop your skills across the wider finance function.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing, coding, and posting supplier invoices accurately and on time
  • Ensuring costs are allocated correctly within the general ledger
  • Managing employee expense claims
  • Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Processing supplier payments (manual and automated)
  • Completing regular supplier statement reconciliations
  • Handling incoming calls in a professional manner
  • Managing daily post duties
  • Monitoring shared mailboxes and responding to general enquiries
  • Supporting management and compliance reporting
  • Assisting with KPI and performance reporting
  • Getting involved in ad‑hoc finance tasks and projects

Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication skills with colleagues and suppliers
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive approach to problem‑solving
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • A positive, collaborative team player

This is a great opportunity to build a solid foundation in Accounts Payable while gaining experience across broader finance responsibilities. AAT study support and potential progression towards qualifications such as ACCA can also be provided.
