Interim Financial Accountant | 3-6 Months | Derby (Hybrid)

Alexander Daniels are currently supporting a highly successful, international manufacturing organisation in the appointment of an Interim Financial Accountant for an initial 3-6 month assignment.

🔍 The Role

This is a broad, hands-on position suited to a proactive finance professional who enjoys problem-solving and delivering tangible improvements in a short timeframe. Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting a range of ad hoc finance projects (including areas such as tax and cashflow analysis)
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving historic accounting issues
• Investigating discrepancies and ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Strengthening financial controls and processes
• Assisting with wider reporting and compliance requirements

💡 About You

• Qualified or qualified by experience accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in financial accounting and reconciliation work
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-led environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to quickly get up to speed and operate with minimal supervision
