This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the senior leadership team, providing both strategic and operational financial leadership.

Reporting directly to the board, you will be responsible for leading a sizeable finance team and ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate financial information to support business decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, developing and mentoring a high-performing finance team.

  • Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management processes.
  • Producing management accounts, board reports and financial analysis for senior stakeholders.
  • Business partnering with operational leaders to drive performance and profitability.

  • Leading the annual audit process and managing external stakeholder relationships.
  • Supporting commercial initiatives, acquisitions and strategic growth projects.
  • Monitoring working capital, margin performance and operational KPIs.
  • Ensuring robust financial controls, governance and compliance across the organisation.

The Candidate

We are seeking a commercially minded finance leader who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business.

You will ideally possess:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
  • Previous experience in a Head of Finance, Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager position.
  • Experience leading and developing finance teams.
  • Strong management reporting, forecasting and business partnering skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience within a multi-site, service-led or PE-backed environment would be advantageous.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation where finance plays a key role in supporting strategic objectives. Alongside a competitive salary and benefits package, the successful candidate will gain significant exposure to senior leadership and business-critical decision making.
